Akanã comes from “ákaña”, a term that means “dream” in the Xetá indigenous language, and truly… our guesthouse is the realization of our dream and so that everyone can experience the magic of Fernando de Noronha. With us, your trip to the most desired island in Brazil will be a unique and complete experience.

The entire concept of Pousada Akanã was conceived by a group of visitors who were passionate about the island of Fernando de Noronha. Its project was conceived during one of these visits, precisely during the most memorable and wonderful experience they had experienced, when they first saw the so-called “perfect place” on the island: a privileged location, facing Praia da Conceição, Praia do Meio and Praia do Cachorro.

With a careful eye to fully value nature and all its splendor, the inn was designed with a unique concept in mind, focused on bringing out all the beauty of the paradise that is the island. Every detail was thought out with great care and good taste to bring you all the excitement you dreamed of for your stay. With capacity to receive up to 36 guests and 18 rooms, we have rooms ranging from 30 to 55m². All of our accommodations have a balcony and exclusive views not only of Praia da Conceição, but also Praia do Meio, Praia do Cachorro, Porto, and other islands.
